BILSTON & WILLENHALL LIONS Club was "chartered" in 1984. At present it has 14 members of a wide range of professions and trades, ages ranging from 21 to 80 years.

The towns of Bilston and Willenhall both have a long industrial history, Bilston predominately was a steel making town, and Willenhall was the leading town in the lock industry when this part of South East Staffordshire known as the "Black Country" exported world wide.

Both towns now lie in the West Midland conurbation, the town of Bilston and part of Willenhall come into the newest City in the UK (2000) the City of Wolverhampton, and the remainder of Willenhall lies in the Borough of Walsall

The Lions year 2007/08 has seen our club welcome our first female President Lion Michelle Bate.
